Steering crank shaft and mounting block

Steering crank shaft to mounting block (extra high strength retaining).
1- Apply primer 7471 to the bottom half of the steering crank shaft and
allow it to dry. Do NOT apply activator to the bore in the crank mounting
block.
2 - Apply Loctite 680 to the bore of the mounting block and the bottom
half of the shaft.
Heat the mounting block if required.
Press the shaft into the mounting block.
Wipe away any excess Loctite.

Plastic thread sealant
Can be used on both plastic and metal thread. Low strength seal.
Parts may be 'as received' or cleaned with a damp cloth or paper towel.
1- Apply to both male and female threads. Work into the threads to
ensure good wetting.
2 - Assemble and torque threads as prescribed.

Activator optional. Activator can be used to increase cure speed when a
large bond gap is present. Product designed for close fitting flanged parts,
gaps up to 0.25mm.
1- Apply manually as a continuous bead or by screen printing to one
surface of the flanges.
Flanges should be tightened as soon as possible after assembly to avoid
shimming.
Low pressure (<0.05 MPa) may be used to confirm seal.
