Before starting
Before starting:
This part of the commissioning should be done before the vessel is in the water.

Make sure that the control system power can be turned on and off.

If applicable, find the engine RPM sensors, and make sure that they can be disconnected.

If applicable, find the gearbox override or manual override controls.

Make sure all safety systems on the vessel are working.

Have the necessary schematics available.

Ensure that the waterjet has been installed and set up as described in the waterjet product manual.

Connect the laptop to a station control panel via the USB port located under the bung on the front of the
SCP.

Start the Support Tool.

If this is the first time a commissioning has been done on this laptop, a driver installation dialogue will
appear. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Place the laptop in a dry, safe place, away from severe vibration.

When the laptop is connected to the SCP,
Connected to a new system is displayed.

Click "Click here to start a new commissioning" to
begin commissioning.
