System hoses and tubing
Visually check after the first 5 hours, then monthly.
Check the following and replace or repair as necessary:
Wear and chafing.
Check for oil leaks around cylinders, hoses and fittings.
Loose hydraulic connections.
Carry out a complete inspection of the Saginaw oil pump every 5000 hours. Look for deterioration and wear
and overhaul or replace as necessary.
Servicing details (electronic system)
Make sure that primary and secondary power supplies to the control system are
OFF
before connecting or
disconnecting any modules.
If blue ARROW modules are subjected to salt spray, rinse with fresh water as soon as possible.
Salt deposits left to accumulate can damage seals and accelerate corrosion.
Make sure that control modules are securely bolted to the console and that the mounting gaskets are
providing a good seal.

Before using the vessel, check the operation of normal control mode for each jet unit (

page 5-25).
2 - Backup operation
Before using the vessel, check the operation of backup control mode for each jet unit (
►
page 5-25).
3 - Station control panel
Check the rubber boot on the backup control jogstick every 3 months. Replace if there is any sign of damage.
The rubber boot is required to keep the module watertight.
4 - Jet interface module
Check the rubber anti-vibration mounts every 1000 hrs. Replace if damaged or worn.
