Control input devices
The control input device modules should be mounted:
Near the corresponding station control panel, so as to be easily operated.
With enough clearance to prevent interference with other modules.
With enough clearance beneath the module to connect cables.
Normally the control input devices should be mounted with the throttle levers nearest the helm wheel,
then the reverse levers, then the Mouseboat.
Levers
All throttle and reverse duct lever modules must be
mounted in a horizontal position. This minimises the
chances of unintended lever movement in rough sea
conditions.
The installation angle (when the vessel is stationary)
must not exceed 15 degrees from horizontal in the
vessel's longitudinal axis.

The Mouseboat must be mounted in a horizontal position in order to remain centred. The installation angle
(when the vessel is stationary) must not exceed 5 degrees in any axis.
Alarm sounder
The alarm sounder:
Should be near the corresponding station control panel,
Should be clearly audible under all operating conditions.
Is not waterproof and should be well protected from water and weather.
A screw on the back of the sounder adjusts the volume.
Autopilot
The autopilot should be:
Connected to the station control panel at the master station.
Connected as per the autopilot schema.
