Power supply
The blue ARROW control system requires two independent 24VDC power supplies. (Not part of HamiltonJet's
scope of supply).
Should the battery voltage be 12V then contact HamiltonJet for options.
Because the blue ARROW system can consume power while not in use, circuit breakers or key-switch
controlled relays should be used to isolate the control system from the power supplies while not in use.
These circuit breakers can be console mounted (with protective cover) to allow convenient isolation of the
control system. If using engine key switches, they should be configured so that all blue ARROW power relays
are switched on when any engine key switch is operated.
Engine interface module
The engine interface module should be mounted:
Upright close to its associated engine.
Away from high vibration areas. Rubber mounts (not provided) may be used to reduce vibration.
In an easily accessible location.
Jet interface module
The jet interface module comes pre-mounted on the jet unit, and requires no additional hardware
installation.
Make sure that the jet interface modules are securely fitted, and will not move during vessel operation.
Station control panel
Should be mounted away from direct sunlight. This improves daytime visibility.
Should be mounted so as to avoid reflections of the lamps in the bridge windows. This reduces
distractions.
Require sufficient clearance beneath the modules to attach interconnecting cables.
Make sure the backup jogstick has enough clearance to be easily operated.
