Dismount the front part (see pg. 5.G-3).
●
The heat sink (1) is covered with an air
chute (2) to guarantee a better air circulati-
on. (Fig. 1)
When mounting or dismounting the Peltier
element, the following must be observed:
●
Remove the fan plate (3). (Fig. 1)
●
Remove the air chute (2) together with the
fans. (Fig. 1)
●
Unsolder the connecting wires of the old
Peltier element from the eraser circuit board
(4). (Fig. 2)
●
Remove the screws (5) of the heat sink by
loosening them 1/4 of a turn respectively.
(Fig. 3)
With uneven pressure, the Peltier
element breaks!
●
Remove the heat sink (1) and the Peltier
element (6). (Fig. 3)
●
Clean the Peltier element's support on the
cooling compartment and the support on
the heat sink by using pure benzine and
dry them.
●
The surface must not be damaged and
there must not be any scratches. If the
surface was, however, damaged, polish it
slightly.
●
Clean the surface of the Peltier element by
using pure benzine and dry it.
CAUTION:
The Peltier element breaks
very easily. (thin ceramics
plates, stranded wire
connections)
●
Adhere the new self-adherent seal (7) on
the heat sink (1) so that the holes of the
sealing are positioned correctly on those of
the heat sink. (Fig. 2, 3)
CAUTION:
The sealing (7) is positioned
with the broad side pointing
downwards to the eraser
circuit board (4). (Fig. 2, 3)
