A.3.6 Function: Water Supply
●
In the standard version the inlet valve is
connected to the water supply system. The
water supply system must provide a
dynamic pressure of at least 11.5 psi if
2.6 gal are drawn per minute (this is limited
by a flow restrictor installed in the valve).
If the dynamic pressure is too low the
boiler might not be filled fast enough. For
determination of the dynamic pressure a
water pressure tester is recommended.
The max. static pressure in the water
supply system must not exceed a max. of
145 psi.
Safety devices in the water supply line

In the dispenser the water pipe from the
outlet side of the inlet valve is directly
connected to the bottom side of the boiler
(see pg. 5.A-3).
No devices are installed which would
prevent a back flow of water from the boiler
(e.g. if the water pressure in the supply
system suddenly collapses). These devices
have to be installed in the supply line
according to local regulations (e.g. non-
return valves or “vacuum breaker”).
A.3.7 Function: Water Drain

The water can be drained by means of a
hose which branches off the inlet hose.
A.3.8 Function: Temperature
Regulation for the Boiler
●
The heating is switched on and off by
relays. The temperature in the boiler is
regulated by switching the heating on and
off. The electronic control switches the relay
on and off.

The electronic control compares the actual
boiler temperature (monitored by the
sensor) with the programmed temperature
value (boiler temperature can be adjusted
with the service device, manufacturer's
setting is 197 °F).

The heating is switched on if the boiler
temperature is 0.5 °F lower than the
programmed temperature.
●
The heating is switched off, when the
programmed temperature is exceeded.
Low temperature recognition
●
If the temperature sensor detects a boiler
temperature less than 141.8 °F the low
temperature display LED is activated by the
electronic control.
●
The display shines until the boiler
temperature is greater than the programmed
boiler temperature -7.2 °F.
Delivery can be blocked at low
temperature. (main menu "Boiler
