C.3.5 Function: Cappuccino-Espresso Version
●
According to the programming café au lait,
milk or cappuccino can be delivered on the
left side.
●
Normal coffee and espresso can be
delivered on the right side.
●
A mixer has to be installed on both sides.
●
The mixer on the left side is used for the
preparation of cappuccino.
●
The mixer on the right side is used for the
preparation of espresso.
●
Simultaneous delivery on both sides is not
possible.
●
On the left side a flexi-pack with milk is installed.
●
On the right side, a flexi-pack with coffee or
decaf is installed.
Café au lait delivery
●
By means of the auto-diaphragm the coffee
is led to the left side where milk is added
and café au lait is prepared.
For café au lait the milk is not stirred. If the
auto-diaphragm is in its normal position the
coffee that is prepared on the right side can
be normally delivered on the right side.
●
Café au lait is prepared as follows:
1. switching over of the auto-diaphragm
2. milk delivery
3. coffee delivery
●
For the preparation of milk a relatively large
amount of milk concentrate is necessary
(Adjustment via the service device: ratio = 0
or 1).
●
The water is added by controlling the water
valve with 3 Hz. The relative switching on
period is automatically calculated by the
processor. The calculation is based on the
required milk-coffee ratio and the total
volume.
●
First the auto-diaphragm is switched over, then
the milk is prepared and finally coffee is added.
The coffee is dosed with the shortest
possible pulse rate.
The required additional amount of water is
calculated by the processor in advance and
delivered during the dosing of the milk.
Process for preparing café au lait
1. Switching over the auto-diaphragm is
done before the milk is being dosed.
2. Milk delivery
start,
The water valve opens 300 msec before
the dosing of the milk concentrate starts
end,
The water valve closes 300 msec before
the dosing of the milk concentrate stops
3. Coffee delivery
start,
The water valve opens 300 msec before
the dosing of the coffee concentrate
starts
end,
The water valve closes 300 msec before
the dosing of the coffee concentrate
stops
4. Adjusted intervals before the beverage
delivery is possible
The auto-diaphragm remains in the left
position.
Cappuccino delivery
●
Because of the milk dosing a manual
rinsing process must be carried out
regularly.
●
The calculations and dosing correspond with
those of café au lait delivery.
●
The mixer is used for the milk and for the
coffee, therefore it is switched on twice.
Coffee and espresso delivery
●
After a delivery of espresso normal coffee is
only delivered if
1.
the delivery process has been completed,
2.
the espresso button has been released,
3.
the preprogrammed interval is over and
4.
another button for normal coffee has been
pressed.
The inlet valve is always closed when
the mixer is switched.
