A.2.2 Disassembly of the Boiler Cover
DANGER:
The following must be
observed for safety reasons,
when dismounting the boiler
cover (1):
-
The contacts (2) of the heating cable
harness (3) must never be loosened at the
heating elements. (Fig. 1)
-
the boiler cover (1) must principally be
replaced together with the cable harness
(3). (Fig. 1)
-
before starting to work at the heating
connections of the boiler cover, the boiler
cover must be removed completely.
-
the plug system of the boiler cover must
not be manipulated, as high electrical
powers are existing in this area.
-
the flat plugs (2) must never be bent.
(Fig. 1)
-
if loose connections can be found at the
flat plugs, the cable harness (3) must
completely be replaced. (Fig. 1)
●
Disconnect the dispenser from the mains
supply and close the water supply valve.
●
Drain the water from the boiler.
WARNING:
The drained water is hot.
There is the danger of being
scalded. Keep your hands and
other parts of your body away
from the hot water.
Water can be drained
-
from the front by opening the splash
panel or
-
from the back by removing the filter
grid.
