IPv6 Routing Commands
Loopback Interface Commands
The commands described in this section are used to create, delete, and otherwise manage loopback
interfaces. A loopback interface is expected to be up on a constant basis, provides the source address for
sent packets, and can be used to receive both local and remote packets. Typically, a loopback interface is
used by routing protocols.

Enters the interface Config mode for the loopback interface.
The
no
command removes the loopback interface and related configuration parameters for the given
loopback interface.
