Enables helpful neighbor functionality for the OSPF protocol. This functionality can be enabled for
planned restarts, unplanned restarts, or both.
The
no
command disables helpful neighbor functionality for OSPF.
nsf helper [planned-only]

Parameters
planned-only
(Optional) This optional keyword indicates that OSPF should only help a
restarting router performing a planned restart.
Default
The default is as follows: OSPF acts as a helpful neighbor in both planned and unplanned restarts.
