random-detect
This command is used to enable WRED for the interface as a whole. and is only available when per-
queue WRED activation control is not supported by the device Specific WRED parameters are configured
using the
random-detect queue-parms
and the
random-detect exponential-weighting-constant
commands.
Use the
no
command to disable WRED, thereby restoring the default tail drop operation for all queues on
the interface.
When specified in Interface Config mode, this command only affects a single interface. In contrast, in
Global Config mode, it applies to all interfaces. The Interface Config mode command is only available on
platforms that support independent per-port class of service queue configuration.

This command is used to configure the WRED decay exponent for a CoS queue interface.
Use the

command to set the WRED decay exponent back to the default.
