This command is used to call up a display of the serial communication settings for the switch.
show serial

The default is None.

Display Parameters
Serial Port Login Timeout
(minutes)
Indicates the amount of time (in minutes) for which a serial port
connection may remain inactive before the switch will close the
connection. Entering a value of 0 caused the timeout to be disabled.
Baud Rate (bps)
Indicates the default baud rate at which a serial port will attempt to make
a connection.
Character Size (bits)
Indicates the number of bits in a character, which is always 8.
Flow Control
Indicates whether the Hardware Flow Control is enabled or disabled.
(Note that the Hardware Flow Control is always disabled.)
Stop Bits
Indicates the number of Stop bits per character, which is always 1.
Parity
Indicates the parity method used on the Serial Port. (Note that the Parity
Method value is always None.)
