5.1 

Special Safety Measures 

 

Wear protective clothing during work! 

Only use suitable hoisting equipment!  

Never step under suspended load! 

 

CAUTION! 

The equipment is equipped with sensitive electronic components. Transport and set the 
equipment down smoothly and shock-free. 

Observe all signs on the packaging. 

Additional transport locking devices were installed by the manufacturer for transport 
purposes. Remove these transport locking devices only directly before installation of 
the equipment. 

 

CAUTION!  

The equipment may only be transported with suitable equipment. Due to the ratio 
between base area and height the system may tip over. 

5.2 

Packaging 

The equipment is dismounted in several segments. Trained workers package the 
segments using foils and wooden boxes. The accessories are added to the boxes. 
Each packing unit has a designation.  

Remove the transport foils only after cleanroom resp. greyroom conditions have been 
established. 

Parts made of quartz- and silicon carbide are prone to break during transport. Special 
packaging is required. 

centrotherm takes the transport box back and disposes of it according to the 
appropriate national laws on recycling and waste disposal.
