9.2.8 Error Messages from Lift at CMI
Error message text Cause Troubleshooting
Handling arm in
undefined position.
Move to defined
position! An attempt is made to
execute a lift movement with
undefined lift arm. Execute homing of lift arms.
Driver function is not
defined! Driver was
incorrectly addressed, or
lift not in home position Command cannot be
executed in current lift
position Executing a permitted
function
Tube ready is undefined.
Make sure that the
loading machine is in
position '0' and
softlander is 'up'! Loading machine not in zero
position Softlander is not in
upper position. Homing of the loading
machine. Set softlander to
the top position
Grip is in undefined
position. Move to
defined position! An attempt is made to open
or close the clamp in an
improper position or with a
boat in the grip. Move to valid position resp.
remove boat from grip.
Grip clamp in undefined
position. Move grip
clamp to defined
position! Sensor does not detect the
clamp state or one of the two
clamps does not open or
close properly. Check sensors, relays, and
motors
Function cannot be
executed in the current
lift position! Lift in incorrect position for
this command. Clamp
position undefined. Move lift to correct position.
Check grip and clamp
position.
The store cannot be
approached, as it is
already occupied! A boat is already in the store.
Possibly a sensor error. Move to other store shelf,
check sensors if necessary.
The paddle cannot be
approached, as it is
occupied or Tube Ready
is missing. A boat is already on the
paddle. Loading machine is
not in zero position. First get the boat from the
paddle, then carry out
homing of loading machine if
necessary.
The slider is not
positioned at the lift. The
movement cannot be
executed at the moment! An attempt was made to
move to the slider position,
although the slider was not at
the lift. The slider position is
approached when the slider is
at the lift. Move slider to lift and repeat
command.
The movement was not
completed. Timeout.
Check plug connectors
and supply voltage! The movement could not be
completed due to mechanical
or electrical problems. Check plug connectors,
supply voltage, and CAN
bus!
The slider cannot be
approached! It is already
occupied! An attempt was made to
approach the slider with a
boat in the grip. First, pick up the boat from
the slider.
