3.4.1 Emergency Stop Switch

The main power switch also serves as emergency stop switch.
For the exact position of the main power switch, refer to the layout in chapter
12.2 Drawings, Circuit Diagrams, Overviews, page 12-1.
To switch on the power supply via the main power switch at the distributor cabinet,
proceed as follows:
1. To unlock, turn main power switch in direction " O → " until stop.
2. Turn main power switch back to position " ↑ + ", wait until primary contacts
respond.
3. Turn main power switch further into position " I ". The switch snaps into this
position.

emergency cooling shutter Opens without external energy as soon as the inside air
temperature of the horizontal furnace exceeds 72 °C.

tube door position inquiry Monitors the tube door position. When the tube door is
open, the vacuum and process gas valves remain closed.

process tube pressure
monitoring Monitors the pressure within the process tube. If the
pressure within the process tube exceeds the permissible
value, the process gas valves are closed and can only be
opened again if the pressure has dropped below the
