Faulty Displays at the CESAR Control Computer 

9.2.11.1 

Heating Zone Display of 0 °C 

The temperature controller of the horizontal furnace is damaged. Replace the 
temperature controller. 

9.2.11.2 

Heating Zone Display of 3000 °C 

CAN bus addresses are not entered.  

1.  Set the CAN bus addresses. 

2.  Check the thermocouple connector at the measuring amplifier for correct seating.  

3.  Check the fuses in the measuring amplifier.

Heating Zone Display of 3003 °C 

Nor signal from thermocouple. 

1.  Check the thermocouple connector. Replace the thermocouple connector if 

damaged.

2.  Check the position of the thermocouples in the heating cassette. 

3.  Check the power controller of the heating zone. 

4.  Check the power, the current and the voltage of the heating zone. 

5.  Check the insulation on the face sides of the heating cassette.

Reference Point Temperature Inside and/or Outside is Displayed at 0.0 °C 

Check the PT100 within the thermocouple connector. Replace PT100 if damaged.
