1.1.7.1.78 How to set refresh level of Fixing Belt
0031-6908
[ Manual-related ]
Description
Please explain how to set the refresh level of Fixing Belt.
Field Remedy
In following service mode, the refresh level of Fixing Belt can be changed.
1) Select Service Mode (Level 2) > COPIER > OPTION > USER > FX-CLNLV.
[Reference] If long-width paper is printed after printing a large quantity of short width paper, light glossy lines may occur with the same width as short-width paper
in the feed direction. The auto refresh control of the Fixing Belt is performed to prevent glossy lines, but use this mode when this symptom still occurs.
2) Enter the setting value, press OK key, and turn OFF and then ON the main power switch.
- Setting value: -5 to 5 (default: 0)
- Switch negative/positive by -/+ key
[Caution] As the value is increased, the effect of refresh control is improved, but the life of the Fixing Belt is shortened. Also, there is a possibility that the Fixing
Belt may be damaged.
[Reference] When Service Mode > COPIER > OPTION > DSPLY-SW > IMGC-ADJ is set to "1", Fixing Belt Auto Refresh Level can also be set in Settings/
Registration.
- Settings/Registration > Adjustment/Maintenance > Fixing Belt Auto Refresh Level
