2) Check if the connector of the paper surface sensor is disconnected. If the connector is not disconnected, check other factors (disconnection of cable and sensor
etc.)
3) Install the inner cover and close the feeder cover.
4) Place the originals in the original tray and output the copy to confirm if the symptom does not occur.
5) If the symptom does not improve, then check other factors.
1.1.3.2.2 "The alignment function of the finisher needs to be checked." message is displayed due to disconnection of
connectors (Finisher-AM1/Saddle Finisher-AM2)

Symptom
The message"Maintenance Notice: The alignment function of the finisher needs to be checked. Contact your service representative. Printing is still possible." may
be displayed on delivery from the tray A or B of the finisher,
Cause
The symptom occurs when any of the following connectors are disconnected.
-On delivery from the tray A: J503[1]/J505[2] of the neat driver PCB[A] and J2520[5] of the upper neat stack unit return roller lifting motor[B].
-On delivery from the tray B: J504[3]/J506[4] of the neat driver PCB[A] and J2511[6] of the lower neat stack unit return roller lifting motor[C].
Service work
Following the procedure below, check for disconnection of the relevant connectors of the neat driver PCB and those of the upper/lower neat stack unit return roller
lifting motors.
1)Check for disconnection of the connectors of the neat driver PCB.
1-1)Loosen the 2 screws[2], remove the 6 screws[3] and the rear cover[1].
