This bit signals that BVS ID is currently
ready. It is reset while BVS ID performs an
administrative task that prevents it from
processing commands. The bit is
particularly reset
during the startup of BVS ID
including the load of the inspection,
during the change of an inspection
program by means of the web
interface or the TCP/UDP
communication interface,
while the user resides in the
configuration mode,
during Auto Setup,
if the File Device is selected as
Image source in the Inputs tab of
the configuration mode page, or
the System error is set.
BVS ID is not considered to be busy during
the execution of an inspection, and the
Ready bit will be set. For sequence control
during an inspection run, the bit Waiting For
Trigger is provided.
Automatically, as soon as the BVS ID performs
an administrative task.

Device
Locked
This bit signals that a PLC has exclusive
control over the BVS ID. The bit is set when
a PLC connects via a communication
interface to the BVS ID. The bit is
particularly reset
when the PLC disconnects from
the BVS ID,
a user logs in as expert or admin
on the client, or
the user management gets
deactivated.
By receiving a status message or through
the status display on the web interface
other participants can recognize if a PLC
has exclusive control.
Automatically, as soon as a PLC disconnects

Trigger
Overflow
This bit signals that a trigger has been
received while BVS ID was not waiting for a
trigger, i.e. while the bit Waiting For Trigger
was binary "0". The behavior upon such an
unexpected trigger is undefined: the trigger
might cause an image acquisition, or it
might not.

configuration mode.

file could not be transferred and got lost.

It is set for input container overflow (more
input containers than inspection results, so
that one input container was discarded or if
received reference value is too large at the
time of execution of tool Inputs) or

execution of tool Inputs).

Error
This bit becomes active if
A critical temperature of 90 °C was
exceeded inside the device.
The inspection program could not
be imported. instead, the standard
inspection program is set.
A critical error occurred while
executing the inspection program.
Automatically, as soon as the system error is
resolved.
Example 1:
Status message from BVS ID to the client : 12 00 02 00 21 00
The status word 21 00 can be interpreted as: 0b 0010 0001 0000 0000. The 0th and the 5th bit are binary "1".
Therefore, the status message indicates Ready and Waiting For Trigger .
