DSQ II Hardware Manual

Thermo Scientific

Adding Oil to a Rotary Vane Pump

To add oil to the rotary-vane pump:

1. Cover the work area with a lint-free cloth.

2. Shut down and vent the DSQ II, as described in

 

"Shutting Down the GC/MS System" 

on page 18

.

3. Add oil.

avoid an electrical shock.

Note  

The pump oil level must be between the MIN and MAX marks on the oil-level 

sight-glass for the pump to operate properly.
