Maintaining Components Outside the Vacuum Manifold

DSQ II Hardware Manual

5. Install the new vent valve solenoid (PN 76461-1003). On the cable, the orientation of the

two plugs does not matter.

Reattach the vent valve filter.

b. Attach the new vent valve solenoid.

Reconnect the cable.

6. Reattach the left, top, and front covers of the DSQ II.

7. Restart the DSQ II.

8. Once the DSQ II has pumped down and is operational, check for vacuum leaks by

reading the convectron gauge and ion gauge pressures and running an automatic tune.
