(TC-104 Board)

8-8-1. Adjustment Overview

When the TC-104 board is repaired or replaced, perform the time code system alignment.

n

Check that the unit sets into the 59.94 Hz mode. If it does not, change the system setting referring to

Section 8-1-3.

Tools

To perform the time code system alignment for the VTR, prepare the following equipment (or equivalent)
and fixtures.

Oscilloscope

TEKTRONIX TDS3054B

Audio analyzer

AUDIO PRECISION System One (SYS-22A)/Two (SYS-2022A)

Alignment tape

HR5-1B

Recording tape

SONY BCT-SR series (HDCAM SR cassette: Separately available)

Use the blank tape erased using a tape eraser in advance or a new blank tape as a recording tape for the adjustment.
