f. At the
ENTER LANGUAGE NUMBER (1–5) TO VERIFY OR ‘A’
TO VERIFY ALL LANGUAGES: prompt, type A for ALL , then
press the Enter key.
g. At the
VERIFY ALL LANGUAGES ... CONTINUE (Y OR N)?
prompt, type Y and press the Enter key.
h. The phrase verification runs. When VERIFY COMPLETE ...
PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE
appears, press the
Enter
key
and the VERIFY OPTIONS: menu reappears.
i. Type X to select option X – EXIT , then press the Enter key. The
COPY OPTIONS: menu reappears.
j. Type X to select X – EXIT again, then press the Enter key.
If any errors result from the phrase verification(s), correct
the errors before continuing the FCP conversion. Call the
Octel National Response Center (for national accounts) or
the Octel Technical Assistance Center (TAC) immediately.
Do not attempt to correct the problem(s) yourself.
Caution!
18. At the ENTER BOOT COMMAND: prompt, turn off the power to the
XC1000.
19. Create a backup of system-drive 0 by performing the following steps:
a. Place the backup drive in system-drive slot 2.
b. Turn on the power to the XC1000.
c. At the
ENTER BOOT COMMAND:
prompt, press
^DC
and the
COPY OPTIONS: menu appears (Figure 14-21).
d. Type D to select option D – SYSTEM [ALL OF THE ABOVE] to
copy software, phrases and the database. Then press the
Enter
key.
e. At the ENTER SOURCE DRIVE LOCATION: prompt, type 0 (zero)
and press the Enter key.
f. At the ENTER ALTERNATE SOURCE DRIVE LOCATION: prompt,
type 1 and press the Enter key.
g. At the ENTER DESTINATION DRIVE NUMBER (0–3): prompt,
type 2 and press the Enter key.
h. The XC1000 will return verification of the drives’ serial numbers.
Verify that the serial numbers are correctly stated. If the serial
numbers are correct, press
Y and the Enter key at the CON-
TINUE (Y OR N)? prompt to continue the backup.
