Performance Management
Integrated Network Management Broadband Release 4.1 provides PM
statistics retrieval support as well as open contract interfaces using CORBA

for OC-192 Release 4 systems. Only PMs supported by the OPC software can
be retrieved by Integrated Network Management Broadband Release 4.1.
In addition to PM statistics supported for previous releases of OC-192 the
following new performance statistics will be supported in Integrated Network
Management Broadband Release 4.1 for OC-192 Release 4:
• Protection Switch Counts/Protection Switch Duration: User commands for
data retrieval, clearing of protection counts, and duration of traffic on the
protection channel (supported from Release 3.0 and for Release 4.0).
Table 9 on page 86 shows the valid performance target units (i.e. CPG type and
name) and their associated PM parameters of TransportNode OC-192 Release
4 supported by Integrated Network Management Broadband Release 4.1.
