Performance statistics can be queried for a single NE through the Performance
Statistics Query dialog, shown in Figure 42 on page 107 . The Performance
Statistics Query dialog is used to specify exactly which performance statistics
should be retrieved. This dialog provides a quick and effortless access to PM
data via a GUI, as opposed to accessing the same PM information on a MAPCI
screen from the individual NEs in a network.
Using the performance statistics dialog, users have the flexibility to retrieve all
PM counts from all CPGs and facilities or have a specific search criteria
consisting of a retrieval of a single CPG with a subset of applicable parameters.
An example would be to retrieve PM counts from the DS-3 G1 CPG and
obtaining only the Section CV, Line CV parameters in the Rx direction.
Similar types of search criteria can be applied to protection switching counts.
The Performance Statistics Display may be saved in a disk file, either for
export to third-party application or for report generation. All counts that were
retrieved are saved to the file.
