INM Broadband Release 4.1
Requirements

This section describes the various requirements, both hardware and software,
necessary to support the INM Broadband Release 4.1 software.

Hardware Requirements

The recommended hardware platforms of choice for INM Broadband Release
4.1 are:

•

the Hewlett Packard (HP) 9000, Model C200 workstation, providing full
Release 4.1 functionality and capacity

•

The Hewlett Packard (HP) B-Series, Model 132L+, providing full Release
4.1 functionality with lower capacities than that of the HP C110
workstation

Other platforms which are supported:

•

the Hewlett Packard (HP) 9000, Model C110 workstation, providing full
Release 4.1 functionality and capacity

•

the Hewlett Packard (HP) 9000, Model C100 workstation, providing full
Release 4.1 functionality and capacity

•

the Hewlett Packard (HP) 9000, Model 735/99 workstation, providing full
Release 4.1 functionality and capacity

•

the Hewlett Packard (HP) 9000, Model 715/64 workstation, providing full
Release 4.1 functionality with lower capacities than that of the HP C110
workstation

The hardware requirements for the HP C200 workstation are:

•

HP-UX 10.20 ACE 2 (June 98)

•

19 or 21 inch color monitor with 256 colors, 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution
and 16 megabytes of RAM

These Hardware Requirements are valid for INM 4.1 workstations running the INM GUI or the INM GUI

+ any CORBA components (except for the HP 715/64 where the INM GUI should only be installed).
