Performance Management Building Block (PMBB)

The Performance Management Building Block provides the capability for
client applications through the CORBA interface to deliver Performance
Management Statistics accumulated over periods of time.

Performance Statistics counts are collected on a per facility and equipment
basis by each network element which belongs to a managed network. In order
to retrieve PM counts, the requested network element must be known and
reachable by the PMBB. The NEs can be discovered using the services
provided by the Resource Management Building Block (RMBB). The PMBB
is illustrated in Figure 26 on page 73.
