The Retrieval Criteria area allows the user to formulate a query to retrieve PM
threshold provisioning information. The user can specify each of the following
in formulating a query:
• Facility type
• CPG
• Port
• Layer (Line, Path or Section)
• Direction (Receive or Transmit)
• Performance Parameters
• Threshold Number (if it is supported by the NE)
The user selects a facility type, then the system determines what facilities of
this type are provisioned on this NE and what is supported on that facility type.
One this is done, the user is then permitted to make selections from the other
fields.
The Parameter list shows the valid PM threshold parameters for the selected
query criteria. The list is populated when a facility is selected, and is updated
as further selections are made, e.g. Port, Layer, Direction.
