The Connection Manager dialog displays the already provisioned matched and
non-matched node connections. It also provides an interface for creating
connections.
In order to accommodate the DCP feature, minor changes have been made in
the Connection Inventory section and the Filter section of the Connection
Manager window. As shown in Figure 14 on page 53, the Connection
Inventory section has been modified by adding a new column “DC_” for the A
and Z end of the connection. The presence of this column for both ends of the
connection enables the user to find out the protection scheme (if any) for the A
and Z ends of the connection without having to bring up the Tributary
Selection dialog. The value of this field can be either “DCW”, “DCP”, or
blank. The value blank is used for non-matched node connections and for
matched node connections when the corresponding A or Z end has not been
provisioned using either DCW or DCP scheme.
