• The 5320, 5330, 5340, and 5360 phones have self-labeling buttons (they do not use designation
cards).
• Several 52xx/53xx phone feature buttons behave differently than other model feature buttons.

• 52xx/53xx phones do not support the
Automatic
Network Address Translation (NAT) address
type. In DB Programming, you must select either Native or NAT for private and public networks.
Refer to the
MiVoice Office 250 Features and Programming Guide
to configure the NAT address
type.
• On MiVoice Office 250 systems, the Mitel 5340 phone Backlight Timer is set for five minutes of
inactivity (no button presses or audio, including music). After five minutes of inactivity, the display
dims to 20% of the maximum brightness (the display backlight cannot be turned off). You cannot
adjust these default settings.
See Table 21 for a description of the 52xx/53xx phone feature buttons. Refer to the appropriate user
guide for additional information on a specific model type.
Wireless IP Phones
The 8664, 8665, and 8668 are compact wireless IP phones. To operate, a NetLink SVP (SpectraLink
®
Voice check box Priority) server is required. For details, refer to the

(Hold) • Places the current call on hold.
• Left/backspace when entering dialpad characters.
(Transfer) • Transfers the current call.
• Right/forward when entering dialpad characters.
(Message) • Connects to the voice mailbox and flashes when messages are waiting.
• Toggles between Alpha Mode and Numeric Mode when entering dialpad
characters.
