The kit code must be scanned or manually entered

before the kit installation check. The operator may change the
kit code number at any time before kit installation. If the code
is manually re-entered after the kit information has been
scanned, any previous lot, expiration date, etc., will be cleared
for that kit.

Visually inspect the pins on the scanner connector prior

to connecting the scanner cable to port 5. Bent or missing pins
will impair the scanner’s ability to accurately scan barcodes.
