After all donor information has been entered, the

red cell volume

button

will display the default procedure volume as specified by

the procedure nomogram (located in the Appendix) or center

requirements.
14. To adjust the red cell volume, touch the

red cell volume button

Touch the button that displays the desired red cell collection

volume for the procedure.

Note:

Target volumes available for the A

LYX

2RBC-NLR

procedure are 360 mL and 400 mL.

check button

to return to the Main Data Entry

Screen once the collection volume has been verified on the

screen overlay.

WARNING: Base the volume of the product(s) to be

collected on the maximum allowable target collection

volume(s) and on sound medical judgment, conforming to

applicable regulations and guidelines set by the appropriate

health regulating agencies.
Note:

Red cell target collection may have restricted volume

requirements depending on local guidelines.

Note:

The instrument will not allow entry of donor or product

inputs inconsistent with configured settings of the instrument’s

administrative settings. An audible tone and flashing data button

indicate entry of unacceptable data input.
