Specific gravity of plasma: 1.03 g/mL
Specific gravity of packed red cells: 1.08 g/mL
Specific gravity of anticoagulated whole blood: 1.05 g/mL
Specific gravity of AS-1 red blood cells: 1.06 g/mL

Any anticoagulant present in the kit or containers will be
calculated as blood component loss. The volume of
