2. Separate the filled red cell storage container from the rest of

the kit.

Note:

Follow standard operating procedures regarding the

empty red cell storage container.

3. Seal lines attached to the solution containers, if desired.

Note:

The lines to the ACD, saline, and preservation solution

containers must be sealed at this time if these containers will be
disposed as non-biohazard waste.

4. Touch the

check button

to verify the kit has been sealed and

the red cell storage container has been removed.

WARNING: Handle and dispose of all biologically
contaminated materials according to local and national
government requirements.
