Chapter 10 Virtual Interface Management

VLAN Management Window

EoMPLS Tab

The EoMPLS tab of the VLAN Management window consists of a single area of the same name. The
EoMPLS area contains the following information:

•

Destination IP—Describes where packets are to be sent. A value of “0 0 0 0” will clear any
previously configured value.

•

VC ID—Label applied to packets entering the tunnel. A value of “0” will clear any previously
configured value.

VLAN Statistics Tab

The VLAN Statistics tab of the VLAN Management window provides the following:

•

Octets—The number of octets counted on this VLAN.

•

Total Octets—The total number of high capacity octets counted on this VLAN.

•

HC Octets—The number of high capacity octets counted on this VLAN.

•

Total HC Octets—The total number of octets counted on this VLAN.

•

Pkts—The number of packets counted on this VLAN.

•

Total Pkts—The total number of packets counted on this VLAN.

•

HC Pkts—The number of high capacity packets counted on this VLAN.

•

Total HC Pkts—The total number of packets counted on this VLAN.

•

Overflow Pkts—The number of times the associated VlanIdStatsTotalPkts counter has overflowed.

•

Total Overflow Pkts—The number of times the associated smonVlanIdStatsTotalPkts counter has
overflowed.

•

Overflow Octets—The number of time the associated smonVlanIdStatsTotalOctets counter has
overflowed.

•

Total Overflow Octets—The number of times the associated smonVlanIdStatsTotalOctets counter
has overflowed.

VLAN Database Tab

The VLAN Database tab of the VLAN Management window consists of a single area, VLAN Database
Backup/Restore. This area allows you to back up and restore the VLAN configuration to a remote TFTP
server and provides the following:

Note

There is no VLAN Database in Hybrid OS. The contents of this tab are disabled in a pure CatOS
environment.

•

TFTP Host—The IP address of the TFTP server to which the VLAN configuration is backed up or
restored from.

•

Backup Status—Status of the last VLAN configuration backup operation. The Backup Status has
the following values:

Ok—The backup operation completed without errors.
