Chapter 10      Virtual Interface Management

VLAN Management Window

–

Vlan Id—Indicates the VLAN which requires troubleshooting; enter the interface name and 
VLAN ID, then choose the appropriate option from the Command list.

•

Add VLAN—Adds a VLAN. Launches the VLAN Management—Add window.

Figure 10-5 VLAN Management—Add Window

The following is displayed on the VLAN Management—Add window:

–

VLAN Number—Unique identifier of the VLAN to be added on the device. The string VLAN- 
will prepended to the VLAN number specified.

–

Add button—Creates the VLAN specified by the Number attribute.

Note

The newly added VLAN will not appear automatically in the VLAN object list. To refresh 
the VLAN list, reselect the appropriate Software object.

•

Delete VLAN—Deletes the currently selected VLAN. If you click this button, you are asked to 
confirm deletion of the current VLAN.
