Details Tab
Note
This tab is intended for use with devices other than the Catalyst 4000 series switches. If you select a
module within a Catalyst 4000 series switch from the listings on the left–hand side of the window, the
Details tab is inactive (i.e., grayed out). Review the
4k Details Tab for information on modules within a
Catalyst 4000 series switch.
The following areas are available on the Details tab of the Supervisor Module Management window:
• Configuration
•
Status
• Inventory
Configuration
The Configuration area provides the following information:
• Native VLAN 802.1Q Tagging—Indicates whether native VLAN 802.1Q tagging is active. This
attribute can have one of the following values:

True
– False
•
Tunnel CoS—Indicates the tunneling class of service.
Status
The Status area provides the following information:
• Operational Status—Displays the operational status of the supervisor engine module. The operation
status can have one of the following values:
–
other—The status is unknown.
– ok—The status is normal.
–
minorFault—There is a minor fault.
– majorFault—There is a major fault.
Note If this attribute has a value other than ok, an alarm is generated.
