GE-WAN Interface Management Window

HSRP 

The HSRP area provides the following information: 

•

HSRP Group—Lists HSRP groups deployed on an interface. 

Note

There may be multiple groups deployed on an interface. Using a group number on one logical 
or physical interface does not preclude using it on another.

•

Configure—Launches the GE-WAN Interface Management - HSRP Group Configuration window 
to add and remove an explicit HSRP group configuration to the interface. Adding deploys an HSRP 
group on the interface. The HSRP group may optionally be assigned a primary IP address. If no 
address is explicitly assigned, the device attempts to discover the virtual IP address from the active 
server using Hello messages.

This subdialog includes the following information:

–

Group Number—Indicates the HSRP group number configured.

–

Virtual IP—Indicates the virtual IP address for the HSRP group.

–

Add button—Adds an explicit HSRP group configuration to the interface.

–

Remove button—Removes an explicit HSRP group configuration to the interface.
