Press the
(Return) key.
The specified text is copied or moved to the destination. If you pressed
the CODE + 4 (COPY) keys at step 2, the text remains at the original
position. If you pressed the CODE + 3 (M OVE) keys at step 2, the text
is copied and removed from the original position.
Between the Files
Follow these steps to copy or move a part of the text between the fdes:

Move the cursor to the beginning of the text to be copied or moved.

Press the CODE + 4 (COPY) or CODE + 3 (MOVE) keys.
The typewriter asks you to determine the range of the text to be copied or
moved.

Move the cursor to the position just after the end of the text to be copied
or moved.

Press the CODE + TEM P (Tem porary M emory) keys.
The specified text is stored in the temporary memory. If you pressed the
CO D E + 4 (COPY) keys at step 3, the text remains at the original
position. If you pressed the CODE + 3 (M OVE) keys at step 3, the text
is copied and removed from the original position.

Close the current file that contains the original text with the END key.

Open a new text file or the existing destination text file.

Move the cursor to the position to which you copy or move the text.

Press the CODE + T EM P (Tem porary M emory) keys.
The text stored in the temporary memory is inserted into the destination.
The text remains in the temporary memory until you store different text
in the temporary memory, you open files other than text files, you store
the phrase library in the temporary memory, or you turn off the
typewriter.
