Press  the CO D E + 9 (DISK) keys  to show  the program  list o f the floppy 
disk in the installed floppy disk drive.

Skip this step  if your typewriter does not have the optional  floppy disk 
drive.

If no disk is inserted into the floppy disk drive, the error message appears. 
Be sure to insert the disk before switching to the disk menu screen.

The following keys arc available on the OPTION screen o f the disk.

CO D E + 5 (PRINT): 
CODE + 7 (D COPY):

COD E  + 9 (DISK):

C O D E + 0 (MEMORY):

Accesses the PRINT FILE LIST screen.
Copies or backs up the whole files and 

programs onto another.
Shows  the  program  list of the  inserted  floppy 

disk again.
Switches back to  the internal  memory 
and  shows the program list.

Follow the guide messages to complete the operation of each key.

R EM EM BER...W e recommend  that you back up option program disks with 

the CODE + 7 (D COPY) keys.  This disk copy  function copies the contents of 

the original  disk  to  the destination  disk  without deleting  the contents o f the 

destination disk.  Pressing the ESC key can cancel the operation halfway.

Press the CURSOR keys to select the desired program.

Press the 

(R eturn) key to run the selected program.

Now you  can  work with  the selected program.

When  finished  with working  the option  program,  the typewriter 
automatically  returns  to  the OPTION screen.

The list of the inserted option program disk appears again.

Press the END key or CODE + OPTIO N keys again to resume the last 

WP MAIN screen you have worked on before you entered the OPTION 
mode.

Now that you have finished  with the OPTION mode, you can switch between 
the WP mode.
