Keyboard Chart
When you use the keyboard, you need to know to which key a certain character is
assigned. The keyboard charts in this section show character assignment of each
keyboard. You need to select the keyboard type I, II, in , or IV with the
keyboard select key and you need to install the daisy wheel according to the
selected keyboard. For more information, consult the dealer where you pur
chased this typewriter.
Keyboard I and II
Because the character assignment charts of the standard keyboard I and the
international keyboard II depend upon the shipment, they are intentionally
omitted from this section. Refer to the keytops of the actual keyboard.
Keyboard III
Select keyboard III when you use a SYMBOL daisy wheel.

Keyboard IV
Keyboard IV is a multilingual keyboard. You can select a language and assign a
character set of that language to keyboard IV. Each subtitle shows the key
board name and the code number you need when setting the multilingual
keyboard with the CODE + SET UP keys.
