Press the <_l (R eturn) key.

The typewriter starts finding the synonyms of the specified word.

When the typewriter finds the synonyms in the thesaurus, it
automatically enters the Thesauius Mode.

When the typewriter does not find any synonyms in the thesaurus, the

display says that no synonyms are found. The typewriter returns to the

last working status.

Proceed to the section "Thesaurus Mode" to take some countermeasures.

Select the proper word "sufficient" among synonyms that the typewriter

finds in the thesaurus. Insert the synonym into the text.

When finished with insertion, the typewriter returns to the last working
status and allows you to continue typing the text.

Open the gear box for periodical inspection.

Apply

sufficient oil to gears.

R E M E M B E R ...If you are in the TYPE NORMAL or AUTO mode and the

carrier does not locate at the end o f the text, the typewriter cannot insert the

word. Pressing the

(R eturn) key shows the error message and cancels the

dictionary synonym function.________________________________ ______ _

Close the file.

Sometimes you want to suspend or quit the function before you complete it.
Pressing the ESC key resumes the previous step and pressing the COD E +

D SYN keys cancels the function halfway.
