Page Format Memory in the TYPE Mode
Page Format Memory allows you to store stop positions on a pre-printed form.
Once the positions are stored, you may insert the form and advance
automatically to each of the positions where text needs to he entered. In this
way, each form will be completed in exactly the same format and sections will
never be "missed."
By using the Page Format Memory, you can store the format for up to 10
different fonns. Once the memory select mode is entered and a number is
assigned for the particular form, you may set the stop positions for that form.
Each stop position is called a Page Format Indent position. Set all of the Page
Fonnat Indent positions (PF IND) required for the form. After the PF IND
positions are stored, you can fill in the fonn easily each time.
Storing the Page Format
Before you start typing with the page format memories, you need to select the
TYPE mode and set them. No settings have been default set for all the page
fonnat memories. When you are in the TYPE mode, the message lamp usually
shows the current line format number but not the page format number.
Follow these steps:

the carrier to the left margin.

Press the CODE + FORM AT keys.
The typewriter enters the setting mode of the page fonnat memory.

Look at the message lamp.
The message lamp now shows the current page fonnat with the number
(ifO - #9) and a period.
I f this is the first time your typewriter is turned on, the message lamp
may show the default page form number "1" with a period.

Press the FORM AT key to select a page format memory where you want
to store the PF IND positions.
Every time you press the FORMAT key, the message lamp counts up and
cycles through the numbers from #0 to #9. A period is added to every
number.
