Move the cursor to position #2 where you locate the lower right comer
of an outside frame.
Use the CURSOR
K— , or —R ) keys or the — R (Tab)
key to move the cursor. Now you can move to the other lines below.
An outside frame is drawn on the display and the cursor returns to the
upper left corner (position #1) of the frame. The typewriter terminates
the outside framing mode and enters the frame editing mode.
If you press the CODE + CORRECTION keys, you can resume the
outside framing mode. The frame is deleted and the cursor moves back to
the framing symbol. Note that pressing the ESC key immediately undos
the deletion.
If the vertical line is not at the tab stop, a new tab stop is automatically
set there and tab stops outside the frame are cleared.
If you press the CODE + 2 (DELETE) keys, the typewriter asks you
whether you are going to delete the frame. If yes, press the
(R eturn)
key then the drawn frame is deleted and the framing function is
terminated. If no, press the ESC key to cancel the deletion.
