Using the Phrase Library with the Disk Drive
If your typewriter has the optional floppy disk drive, you can store as many
phrase libraries as the disk can contains. The basic and common functions and
operation o f the phrase library are described preceding section "Using the
Phrase Library." Before you start this section, be sure to read it and master the
techniques. If your typewriter does not have the disk drive, you don't need to
read this section. This section provides additional information.
Follow these steps to master the advanced usage with the floppy disk drive:

Press the PH RA SE key.
The PHRASE EDIT screen appears. The CODE + 4 (COPY) and CODE
+ 9 (DISK) keys are available.

Define some phrase texts in the phrase library.
R EM EM B ER ...The phrase library to use is always in the internal memory.
To use the phrase files stored in the disks, you need to load the desired library
into the memory.___________________________________________________

Insert a disk into the floppy disk drive.

Press the C O D E + 4 (COPY) keys.
The display shows the entry area o f a phrase filename with the .PHR
extension and the storage location:

< - * PHRASE.PHR / MEMORY
If you press the ESC key at this step, you can cancel the copy function
halfway.

Type a filename with up to 8 characters.

Press the
(R eturn) key.
All the phrase texts in the internal memory are copied onto the inserted
disk.
