Switchgear/Breaker – Manager
Trip Manager – Assignment of commands
The trip commands of the protection elements have to be assigned to those switchgear, that are make/break
capable (Circuit Breaker). For every make/break capable switchgear a Trip Manager is provided.
In the Trip Manger all tripping commands are combined by an “OR” logic. The actual tripping command to the
switchgear is exclusively given by the Trip Manager
. This means, that only tripping commands which are assigned
in the Trip Manager lead to an operation of the switchgear. In addition to that, the User can set the minimum hold
time of the tripping command within this module and define whether the tripping command is latched or not.
