Replacing the battery with a
truck or hand pallet truck
Preparing
DANGER
Risk of accident due to overloading of the means of
transport used!
The load capacity of the means of transport used
must at least match the weight of the battery includ-
ing the tray and, if applicable, the weight of the
change frame.

Regarding the respective weights, observe the
nameplates of the battery and of the change
frame.
WARNING
Damage to the battery possible!

Only place the battery (with or without the change
frame) on a firm and stable surface.

Do not place the battery (with or without the
change frame) on unsurfaced ground or on rack-
ing!
CAUTION
Danger of truck damage if original batteries are not
used!

The replacement battery must be identical in size
and weight to the original battery.

If the size or weight is different, please contact
your authorised service centre.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to electrical and electronic compo-
nents due to short circuit!
Connecting or disconnecting the battery with the in-
dustrial truck switched on may cause damage to
electrical and electronic components.

Always switch off the industrial truck.
The battery can be replaced using the follow-
ing means of transport:

Truck
●
Electric hand pallet truck
●
Unbraked hand pallet truck. However, this
may only be used on level ground. In addi-
tion, a change frame must be used
