Emergency operation of the
parking brake in the event of a
malfunction
If the industrial truck will not move due to a
malfunction, the parking brake is applied au-
tomatically. If the parking brake can then no
longer be released in the usual way via the
push button, it can be released mechanically
using a lever. The industrial truck can then be
towed away.
The procedure for the tow tractor and the plat-
form tractor is described below.
Removing the lever
Tow tractor

Open the battery door.

Disconnect the battery male connector (1)
and place it carefully on the battery.

Remove the lever (2) that is to the left of the
battery tray.
Platform tractor
–
Open the battery door.
–
Disconnect the battery male connector and
place it carefully on the battery.

Open and fold down the rear folding plat-
form panel of the load platform. See the
chapter entitled "Opening and closing the
platform panels".

Lift the rear platform cover and move it in
the drive direction. To do this, use the han-
dles in the platform cover.

Remove the lever (1).


