If no IP addresses have been configured, add addresses as needed. For more information, refer to
Section 13.7.5.2, “Adding a Network IP Address”
Section 13.7.5.2
Adding a Network IP Address
To add an IP address for a RIP network, do the following:
1. Make sure the CLI is in Configuration mode.
2. Add the neighbor by typing:
routing
rip network ip
address
Where:
•
address
is the IP subnet address and prefix for the network
3. Type
commit
and press
Enter
to save the changes, or type
revert
and press
Enter
to abort.

Deleting a Network IP Address
To delete an IP address from a RIP network, do the following:
1. Make sure the CLI is in Configuration mode.
2. Delete the IP address by typing:
no
routing rip network ip
address
Where:
•
address
is the IP subnet address and prefix for the network
3. Type
commit
and press
Enter
to save the changes, or type
revert
and press
Enter
to abort.
